Cookies
This page explains the use of cookies, browser local storage, and other technical mechanisms required for marketplace functionality.
Last updated: 31 August 20261. What are cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website may store in the browser to maintain sessions, security, and other functionality.
2. Essential cookies
The marketplace uses technical cookies required for authentication, maintaining user sessions, and account security.
Without these cookies, certain account features may not function correctly.
3. Cookie security
Session cookies use security attributes designed to restrict access from client-side JavaScript and reduce the risk of misuse.
In production, sensitive cookies are transmitted only over secure HTTPS connections where required by their purpose.
4. Browser local storage
For guest users, the cart and favorites may be temporarily stored in browser localStorage.
This data is used to preserve products selected by the user between pages and visits.
localStorage is not a cookie, but it is also a mechanism for storing data on the user's device.
5. Third-party authentication
When using a third-party sign-in provider such as Google, temporary technical data may be used to securely complete the authentication process.
6. Analytics and advertising
Only after analytics consent, the website saves a random browser identifier in localStorage. It helps group tabs and count visits. Withdrawing consent removes this identifier from the browser.
The analytics database stores protected HMAC identifiers for the browser and IP, rotated every month. It does not store their original values. This system does not set advertising cookies and is not used for personalized advertising.
Optional analytics and personalization are not activated before consent. Users may reject them or change their choice at any time on the Privacy choices page.
7. Managing browser data
Users can delete cookies and localStorage data through their browser settings.
Deleting technical data may sign the user out, clear the guest cart, or reset certain preferences.
8. Changes
This page is updated when the cookies, local storage mechanisms, or third-party services used by the marketplace change.
